There was no budget provision made for this project as the bus shelters are owned by Wiltshire Council. Since the setting of the budget panels have been broken in all the shelters but Wiltshire Council will not replace them.

Upgrade to Wiltshire Council owned bus shelters in the parish

6. Project summary:
There are panels missing in all the Wiltshire Council owned bus shelters in the parish and the parish council wish to replace them with polycarbonate panels which would be an upgrade. The missing panels mean the young school children and the elderly who use the rural bus route are exposed to the elements. To try to prevent the panels being broken again the parish council wish to upgrade to polycarbonate panels.

13. Please tell us WHO will benefit and HOW they will benefit from your project benefit your local community?
Parishioners using the bus service. The main users are school children and the elderly. The shelters currently offer inadequate protection against the elements. With the panels being replaced and upgraded to polycarbonate this will provide the necessary protection and will prevent them from being broken again.

14. How will you monitor this?
Once upgraded to polycarbonate the missing panels will provide adequate shelter.

15. If your project will continue after the Wiltshire Council funding runs out, how will you continue to fund it?
Future budgeting will be allocated for bus shelter panel replacement.
