My husband and I derive our income from pensions and from rental income that we receive from property that we own in Warminster.  Apart from our house in Heytesbury we own no other property in this Parish.   In addition, since becoming a Councillor, I have automatically become a Trustee of The Raymond Trust Fund.  "The Trustee" is actually "The Parish Council" itself - so every Councillor automatically becomes a Trustee.   The assets of this charitable Trust are exclusively derived from the increase in the value of the invested sale proceeds since our old village-owned Village Hall, The Raymond Hall, was sold in 1982.   At present there is an on going dispute concerning the terms of the trust but all information has so far been withheld from me and from some other Trustees.  Until recently I was also Chairman of a village group who sought to replace our old village hall with a new premises to act as a community meeting place and for the enhancement of village life.  I have resigned from this group since I became a Parish Councillor in order to avoid any possible conflict of interest if and when the matter of the village hall is presented to the Council and so that I may consider the matter objectiely, impartially and in the best interests of the wider community.
