Description: A Second World War pillbox is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. This pillbox was one of four that were built to protect the militarysidings at Thingley. It was situated to the north of the sidings on the western side of the railway embankment. The site is obscured by trees on the 2009 air photos but is depicted on the latest Ordnance Survey MasterMap.
