Description: Possible medieval and post medieval settlement remains and ridge and furrow are visible as earthworks on lidar and aerial photographs. What appear to be the remains of former house platforms are visible on lidar to the west of Langley Lodge at the east end of Langley Burrell. Ridge and furrow extends to the north, east and west and is visible on 1950s aerial photographs but the lidar suggests it has nearly all been ploughed level. The possible settlement remains are one of a number around the current extents of the village of Langley Burell. The ridge and furrow appears to be part of an extensive open field system that once covered much of Langley Burrell parish.
