Description: It was opened in June 1961 and closed in September 1991. It was located underground in a square overgrown compound on top of Warden Hill, 50 yards north of the trig station and 200 yards west of the B4003.

Description: All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the light green paint. there is some damage to the top of the access shaft probably caused by people trying to break in. The padlocks have been recently cut off. The hatch is locked but can be opened with a 'T' bar key. All the telecommunication (BT) equipment remains in place including Tele-talk, WB1401 receiver, switching box, connection boxes and WB1410 filter unit. Other remaining artefacts include cupboard, table, shelf, extra high level shelving in the toilet, light, folding wooden chair, utensils, spare FSM gaskets, small splint, fire blanket box, battery box, sickle, pick axe, crowbar, plastic 'no smoking beyond this point' sign, home made carpeted foot rest and wiring.
