The online Wiltshire and Swindon Historic Environment Record (HER) allows you to search for information on the known archaeological sites, monuments and finds in Wiltshire and Swindon.

The HER holds over 35,000 monument records on a variety of sites and finds from the prehistoric to the 21st century. The data is updated daily.

This version of the HER is suitable for general interest only. Please contact the Archaeology Service archaeology@wiltshire.gov.uk for a fuller dataset, including archaeological events.
