We have an opportunity to acquire the former BIOS van that has operated in Swindon. This bespoke award winning vehicle will allow us to connect with local young people and help provide a unique safe and engaging provision in our part of Wiltshire. This will help to talk about and address issues relevant to them including Positive decisions mental health family and social issues. We have partnered with local Police other service providers and local residents in the past to help build a stronger sense of community and this will continue to develop. Wiltshire YFC are committed to supporting communities and young people right across north Wiltshire. We assist young people in their current stage of life and during their transition to adulthood and encourage them to make a full and positive contribution to the communities in which they live. This facility includes multi media provision hot water facilities storage and means to transport other items around such as a Youth Cafe Gazebo and seating. Our aim is to also support other community groups NOISE Project local youth clubs Wiltshire Wildlife and WCto help enable other activities being run. Young people have been involved over the years through the LYN and CYO levels. This will help physically and visually promote youth support to those who are currently not connected.
