Why can't you fund this project from your reserves:
Five Rivers is a registerevoluntary community amateur sports club and after rent and operating costs has few reserves. From these reserves we need to save to replace the indoor bowls carpet and cover general repairs currently replacement fire doors and a potential rent review which is due.

We are a small community group and do not have annual accounts or it is our first year:

13. Please tell us WHO will benefit and HOW they will benefit from your project benefit your local community?
Members of Five Rivers Indoor Bowls Club their guests and visiting teams. Anyone can have a heart attack at any time and after calling 999 and performing CPR having a defibrillator is the best way of improving the chances of survival of a heart attack victim.

14. How will you monitor this?
We would register the defibrillator with the South West Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and comply with their monitoring requirements and a member of the bowls club would be responsible for maintaining records.

15. Safeguarding. Please tell us about how you will protect and safeguard those involved in your project
Five Rivers Indoor Bowls Club is registered with Bowls England which has achieved the Advanced Safeguarding Standards Award though the NSPCA. In January 2017 Five Rivers formed a Club Safeguarding sub-committee and adopted the role of Club Welfare Officer Safeguarding at the AGM in April 2017.Safeguarding is now listed as an agenda item at every monthly committee meeting.

16. If your project will continue after the Wiltshire Council funding runs out, how will you continue to fund it?
Five Rivers Indoor Bowls Club financial reserves.
