Issue

The speed and volume of traffic through the Parish has become intolerable to the residents.A public meeting chaired by the MP for the Chippenham Constituency with the Cabinet Member for Highways Cllr Ben Anderson Parish Council Members and over 100 members of the public was held on the 11 January 2019 to give residents the opportunity to share their concerns about the speed and volume of traffic coming through the parish. It became clear during the meeting that the residents would be prepared to see physical traffic calming measures deployed if they were an effective method to reducing the speed and volume of traffic.
