Numerous Vehicles are still parking inconsiderately and illegally outside School despite yellow lines prohibiting such parking except blue badge holders who may do so anytime.People have been threatened with violence from certain drivers who did not appreciste being shamed publicly for their selfish lazy parking practices.Police are not interested in enforcement of parking issues or road rage issues as evidenced by previous issues raised and going unresolved.Parking services are constantly receiving requests from schools to address these issues but lack resources to fulfil these duties effectively.

What has been done so far

Spoken to some drivers directly and then been threatened by them on occasions. spoken to School again recently who could do more but choose not to do so. Reported to Council Enforcement and Local Police.

What would resolve issue

Black Out the parking bay lineage in the layby as was previously promised by Highways would take place. The single yellow lines at the lay-by and zigzags area and adjoining bends in road ought to be upgraded to double yellow lines giving them more weight legally and sending clear message to those still flouting existing lines. Fund and Install a static ANPR camera onsite to catch offenders and to protect pedestrian safety.
