CATG Action / Recommendation

The building at 3 High St Warminster is an eyesore a blot on the landscape of our lovely market town and a Health and safety hazard. The hoarding around the scaffolding is now disintegrating the windows are exposing the building to the weather and must be causing damage to the interior of the building.

Visitors and Locals and other businesses are all affected because it doesnt create the right impression that other businesses in the town are prospering. It makes the town look as if no-one cares.

What would resolve issue

Surely the council could fine the owner for the length of time the scaffolding has been in place. Or make a compulsory purchase order. If this was happening in Bath or Trowbridge something would have been done by now.
