Latest Update

03/01/2018 15:30:08 Thanks for your issue. We will be in touch if we need any further info

CATG Action / Recommendation

There are five road name plates missing within the village and the parish council would like to replace them.

Issue Location

Southern Wiltshire

Street / Location

Firs Road Avon Drive Tunnel Hill Priory Close Rectory Road.

Electoral Division

Alderbury and Whiteparish

Issue Duration

6 months as a minimum some a year.

Who is Affected

Residents deliveries being made to them and any visitors in each of these roads. Each of these roads are key ones in the village and potentially impact on a large number of residents. It affects all village residents ultimately as it looks untidy if they are missing from the backing board.

What has been done so far

Liaison with Graham Axtell at Wiltshire Council to establish if WC would replace them. Following budget confirmation for 20172018 he confirmed that this would need to be financed by the parish council as WC did not have a budget for these items. Website links to potential suppliers supplied to the clerk by WC.

What would resolve issue

New name plates produced and installed. A contribution to be awarded by CATG and APC have agreed December 2017 meeting to also make a financial contribution.

Who needs to come together

CATG committee, Alderbury Parish Council and a supplier to produce the 5 name plates, supply and fit them.
