Reference No

Issue Summary

Request for safe crossing Bradford Road Atworth

Latest Update

16/04/2018 08:50:22 Note from CATG 08.03.2018 - CATG resolved that this scheme moves to the priority list.

CATG Action / Recommendation

There is a serious injury risk to pedestrians crossing Bradford Road at its junction with Bath Road when crossing from the western side. There is no visibility of traffic approaching from the south i.e. along Bradford Road towards the junction. This is particularly difficult when the noise from traffic on Bath Road prevents the sound of vehicles approaching the junction from along Bradford Road from being heard. Vehicles often approach this junction too fast.
