CATG Action / Recommendation

I am team leader for Beanacre Community Speedwatch. We have a serious speeding problem through this village with limited things available to help with the problem. Obviously a bypass is needed but until then we would like to have white gates sited at the 30mph signs both north southbound. We would also like signs hung above the gates saying Please drive carefully through our village. Beanacre is a village after all but drivers dont seem to realise this. We think having white gates will make the drivers realise they are travelling through a village hopefully travel through at the legal speed not at double the legal speed which happens quite regularly
